Busta Rhymes should have never cut his dreds off; today he looks like any other rapper. Busta still sparks a live performance like few can; lyrics are intact; music still bangs..

but that extra something is missing that used to put him over the top. Jay-Z called it animated. The dreds were a trademark. They amplified his personality and morphed him into this inimitable character.

It’s like if one day Donald Trump decided to sport a greased up baldy.
