Rewind That: Don Cheadle, Fergie, and Matt Damon Support Mattafix “Living Darfur” Video
Don Cheadle needs some kind of humanitarian award, although I suspect he would much rather have some action taken towards the causes he supports. Having just co-authored a book “Not On Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur”, he continues to bring awareness to the ongoing situation in that country. Here Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Fergie and John Legend appear in a video by UK artists Mattafix. Mick Jagger partially funded it. Yup, some stars believe in more than what’s within arms’ reach.
Want the story behind the video? It can’t be said any better than Sing after me: do they know it?s genocide?”
☼ What's Your Opinion? ☼
It’s sad that no one is commenting on the problems that are going on in the country that we claim to care so much about. We are too busy reading about Kanye and 50’cent. Our people have been dying there for so long. Talk about black on black crime. It just very sad.
JASON, NO DISRESPECT BUT WHAT IS THIS OUR PEOPLE THING? YES I AM BLACK BUT I AM NOT AFRICAN AS MOST BLACK AMERICANS ARE. WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE IS HORRIBLE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND ON THAT END I DO SUPPORT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.
