Movin' ya head back and forth along with the perfectly mastered tone of this album, you realize and mumble "Damn… This is pretty good." The proof later comes when your own damn neighbor comes and knocks on your door askin' you who's song is that, only echoin' your "pretty good" comment, followin' up with "where can I get my copy?"

Well written, timed, and given is what I say. The LP is definitely hot - two thumbs up, go out and get ya copy legit and keep that sh't in ya cd player for some tranquility, power, and meanin' in ya life! Van Hunt not only has skill, but a talent beyond what most of our male singers, writers, producers, entertainers, let alone artists have had to offer us for a while.

Van Hunt follows in the great and persevering footsteps of artists like the legendary Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. You can't help but to love the album and want more! He's found an unimpaired technique to breathe life back into the R&B field of the industry. Van Hunt's self titled album presents us with an eclectic and definitely addictive, deep, but lighthearted silhouette of what good times with good music can feel like… And hell, what they should feel, sound, and be like!
