Chrisette Michele “Epiphany” Video + The Little Things
You heard the song, now see the video. It’s Chrisette Michele’s “Epiphany.” The first single off her album of the same name, due May 19. That was a quick song-to-video punch. Given the subject matter, the video is pretty much what you would expect. Ironically, what gives it multi-view value is Chrisette Michele’s undeniably smoking vocals.
Look, Ma! Not a single Auto-Tuned note.
On Monday, Chrisette Michele performed at the Canal Room in New York City. The scoop, from a dude leaning heavy on the crab puffs: Chrisette is a sure thing and Def Jam’s fully behind her sophomore offering. How did he come to that conclusion?
It’s the little things that matter.. “People really do notice the little things. We can tell how much faith Def Jam Recordings has in the new album because both the company chairman L.A. Reid and president Steve Bartels were on hand at the Canal Room to introduce her. We can tell because of the open bar and the crab puffs and the shrimp cocktail and all the sushi floating around. We can tell because all of that means cash was spent and these days cash only gets spent on sure things.” - Glenn Gamboa
Ok, now pass the crab cakes.
