I have always been a fan of Kelly and Letoya for baby mama status since they first came out back then Beyonce was aight with the blonde weave and so forth. But just like that spot they did on mad tv one time about her goping into Kelly and Michelle’s shots during the emotions video. She will alway be in the front and yes I do think they definitely overexposing B to much and not Kell’s any play BTW whats Michelle doing chilling in the cut no doubt singing I’m a survivor LOL.

I have real issues with Kelly Rowland.I just can’t respect someone who is content being in the background. When you have an artist like Rhianna who can barely sing, but selling more records than you, that should def be a wake up call. To think that Kelly has been exposed to top producers, and is part of the number one girl group in history, its sad to see her fade in Beyonce’s shadow! But honestly if she’s content with not living up to her full potential then props her to her. After all you can’t force someone to want to strive to be number 1, they have to want it for themselves!!!

From all the rumors about how awful Matthew is I can see why Kelly hasn’t been successful.  If Kelly was to get from under the Knowles’ maybe her music career would soar.  Do a search on Beyonce and you will keep hearing about her stealing someone’s song or using someone’s song and trying to take writer’s credit for it when she took their product and changed it a little.  She needs to get rid of her dad.  That could be why she went on “vacation” and came back with a completed album.  One that her dad didn’t have his hands on. 

Kelly is probably afraid of Matthew.

I think it is hard to break away from the Knowles camp because Matthew has made himself quite powerful. He sits on the grammy nominating committee and it looks like everyone kisses his ass. I give HUGE props to Miss Jennifer Hudson for not letting him be her manager. I can only imagine how that would have played out. I don’t know if I would just dump all of this on Beyonce. Kelly should have enough connections to make a brave and bold move and get off on her own. I think they (really Matthew) would leave her alone because she could actually say a lot of things which true or not the public would probably believe.

I forgot to add, I use to be a part of the Beyonce-hater club and turned in my membership because I feel like she does get a bad deal in the public. Also, I feel like she is really grasping lately. She went from a Golden Globe nominee to putting out 4 videos at once which no one cares about to just being on the covers of magazines. She is starting to be a one-trick pony. If she was serious about acting she should study the craft so she can be taken seriously. Sometimes she comes off like a joke and if she is NOT careful she will be Janet Jackson at 40 trying to reach an audience of 20 year olds. And, we see how far that’s gotten Miss Jackson lately. She needs to start to grow and mature so she can have longevity. The Knowles are very dependent on her for their lifestyle so she has got to keep making money or I don’t care what anyone says…IT WILL RUN OUT. Did I say I turned in my membership card? Let me re-think that.

Ya know..I am probably the biggest Beyonce fan out there but B has got to step back though for a minute. Its time for Kell to shine. Her first single is coo and she needs this front cover more than anything while things are poppin. Kelly has to be woman enough to step up though and not let people push her back. If so, I agree with “A” in the above article, she deserves to be left in the shadow and only be known as that girl from Destinys Child. Kelly needs to show she can be a super star and that her maturity has pushed her to be a woman and prove it!

Hey I feel for Kelly because she is apart of Beyonce’s success. She can free herself from being in the shadow if she would express herself to the Knowles camp or rather Matthew. just look at how he really runs his business, he puts his wife to the side in the beginning of Destiny’s Child career causing separation between the two,then he puts his talented younger daughter on the back burner for whatever reason, then he causes the biggest breakup in R&B history since The Supremes to happen to his beloved Beyonce and her best friends. What more needs to said. I am a female minister of the GOSPEL and I am prophetically speaking that if things do not change for the good concerning Kelly’s career you will find art imitating life for the KNOWLES’ and KELLY in a real life show and movie “Dream Girls” and Kelly will be the real “Effie”.

When did Beyonce become the editor at VIBE?  Everyone knows Kelly has an album coming out, but VIBE is in the business of selling magazines.  Kelly has a nice voice, but how can Beyonce or her father be blamed if Kelly’s album is not a success? Kelly is responsible for the music.  If the music is not good then people will not buy it.  Look at her first album, no major single.  That is not management’s fault.  She can work with any producers she wants.

i agree with Dee. its up to the artist to make the music worth listening to. her first album was not a hit and michelle just is not doing anything so peeps need to stop hating on beyonce. and so what if b’s album has been out for a while, if she comes up with ways to sell more i say more power to her. i know i will go buy the cd. and when kelly’s album come out i will get that. Beyonce is my girl and I’m like one of her biggest fans but i do think she is getting a lil outrageous. Looks like to me she just want all the attention to be on her. If she’s all caring and all like she claims she would of let Kelly have the cover to help her so called sister out. People are going to buy Beyonce’s album regardless and she knows that. That’s why she’s bringing that deluxe album out with all them lame songs. Let’s face it, those videos she got out now ain’t her best. The only one thats really worth listening to is “Get Me Bodied”. She just put them out there because she knew people would buy them because she’s Beyonce. Really she needs to take a break because people are bout sick of her.

i think Kelly’s acting in the seat filler was better than b’s in dream girls. fine, seat filler wasnt as compelling a story as supremes i mean dream girls but it was a nice romantic comedy. what i am basically saying is, if God’s destiny for kelly to make it she will. i think she is a fine woman with great talent and heart. i think she is generally under-exposed, watch the destiny’s child documentary and theres tina knowles acting shocked that kelly is actually big in australia? i mean its good to want the best for beyonce but its about time the knowles gave 100% to kelly too, either that or they should set her loose.

i dont get why kelly is still friends with beyonce after all this time, kelly has been around beyonce for so long and still doesnt see the kind of person she is. kelly is a good artist and she should want to make a name for herself instead of being known as “the girl beyonce is so called ‘friends’ with”. as for beyonce, you need to get over yourself because you are not the best, even though you got all your crazy fans to think so. there are tons of BETTER SINGERS!
